Russians now can use streaming service Netflix only via VPN
MOSCOW, May 27 (PRIME) -- U.S. streaming service Netflix is no longer available for Russians without a VPN application to skirt blockings, PRIME reported on Friday.
“Not available,” the service said on its website. The platform’s application can be still logged in with no content available.
Among other Western companies, Netflix earlier decided to pause its service in Russia. VPN was needed to get registered and top up the account, but films and series were available without it.
